As a member of our team, you will work on a variety of residential projects throughout Saskatchewan. Your primary focus will be developing accurate, detailed, permit-ready construction drawings, ensuring our projects meet applicable building code and regulatory requirements.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and has a genuine interest in building code, construction, and residential design.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed, permit-ready construction drawings
Applying the National Building Code of Canada (NBCC) and relevant Saskatchewan building requirements to residential projects
Reviewing projects for compliance with applicable municipal bylaws and permitting requirements
Coordinating with engineers, energy consultants, contractors, and other project professionals
Assist with preliminary design drawings
Taking increasing ownership of projects from design through completion

As you gain experience with our projects and demonstrate strong technical judgment and reliability, there will be opportunities to become more involved in design development, client communication, site visits, and project coordination.

Qualifications

Required

Architectural Technologist Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
Strong working knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada
Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan residential building practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Valid driver's license

Assets

Experience with Revit
Experience with Chief Architect
Experience with 3D rendering software
Experience with residential design and construction
Experience with residential permitting and municipal requirements
Interest in improving business processes, workflows, and drawing standards
